Pulled up the carpet in my 2015 Jeep JKU Unlimited and found some rust starting on the floor pan under the front seats.

I’m not looking to cut/patch/replace sections—plan is to wire brush it down, treat it, and seal it.

Main question is what’s the best way to finish it after that:

- Reinstall carpet?

- Or switch to something like bedliner (Rhino/LinerX, etc.)?

- Any better products people recommend for sealing/protecting long term?

Just looking for a solid, practical fix that’ll hold up. Appreciate any advice from people who’ve dealt with this.
