New (temporary) school mascot!!

I found this frog outside of the school where I work in central Indiana. I believe it’s a frog, if it’s a toad please correct me! My students are very curious about it, and we would like to know more information if you have any!

Dog introduction help!

Hello!

My dog is an almost 2 year old pittie mix. Shes very sweet with people and VERY energetic. She loves walks, enjoys saying hi to people (sometimes too much 😂😅) and overall has been an amazing addition to my life.

Along with being amazing in many ways, my dog is dog reactive. We’ve been working with a trainer for about 8 months and she has come SO far. My boyfriend’s family has a lot of dogs, and we want to work on introducing them.

For some background, my dog is a rescue and we got her from a local shelter. She was what they called a “greeter dog” initially there because she was, according to them, so good with other dogs. However, she had a few negative interactions and shut down and became reactive.

All this to say, has anyone been in a similar situation and/or do you have advice for introductions? We’re getting her together with a dog of a similar size, age, and energy level. They have met before about a year ago, and it was before my dog had training. The interactions went…okay. As in no one got bitten and they rough housed a little, but I’d like this second round to go as well as possible and to know where I should set my expectations.

Thank you for any advice!
