Are airpod 2s really that big of a downgrade?

So a couple of months ago my mom stole my airpod pros and lost my left one. I’ve been listening with only one now and it’s driving me absolutely crazy. My family isn’t rich so i’m not trying to ask for some more pros and i saw the airpod 2s are only about 80 dollars and was wondering if they are that much worse. Main point is it a good investment to downgrade airpod 2s so i can listen with both airpods and is there any major differences i should know about. Also does it feel wierd without the silicon peice on the end? I’ve never tried any airpods without it but it looks like it would be a lot less comfortable without the silicon peice on the pros.

Summer Intensity

I’ve heard a lot that summer is just for base-building. I’m a freshman that’s going into sophomore season soon and was wondering if I should only do easy/long runs or if i should add in workouts. Sadly my coaches also suck so I can’t ask them for help or anything and i’m not going to their summer practices so i’m gonna be on my own. I just want to know if I should add in workouts in the summer and if so how many.

for context i am a 14m freshman xc/track athlete. 7 months ago i got injured and broke my leg. over this time ive been trying to change my mindset. What specifically should i be focusing on and what are some things i should tell myself. Also ive heard people talk about “detaching” from the results and was wondering why that’s important and what it means. Also can u please give me specific phrases i can be telling myself. (Sorry this post is so vague. i’ve been thinking about this a lot but i i just don’t know what else i can put in this post)
