Hades and Persephone
Beneath the earth where no light dares
Hades waits with coal-black stares
Hands like chains, his voice a snare
Persephone shivers, caught in his lair
Roots of night twist through her veins
Whispering secrets, sweet as pain
A stolen bloom, a trembling flame
Her fear and longing both the same
A world of stone, yet warm with breath
Their love a dance of life and death.
No dawn will touch this darkened ark
No mercy lives in Hades’ heart
Yet still she blooms in love and delight
A Captive Flame in eternal night
