Shark RV2402WBUS vacuum — water flow stuck on max + navigation issues
I’m back again with more issues on my Shark RV2402WBUS vacuum — unfortunately, this isn’t the first time I’ve had problems with it.
After one of the app updates, a water flow adjustment option appeared before sending the vacuum to clean. I must have experimented and set it to maximum. A short while later, that feature disappeared in a newer update, and now the vacuum always uses maximum water flow. As a result, it soaks the floor — whenever it spins to orient itself, it leaves a huge puddle underneath and damages the flooring.
Previously, the water tank lasted for about 50 m² (around 540 sq ft), but now it barely covers 20 m² (215 sq ft). I found older app versions online (6.3.0 and 6.4.0) that had the water adjustment option, and I even managed to install them. But the app immediately forces me to update through the Play Store, so I can’t actually use them. Has anyone else run into this and found a workaround?
The second issue: before heading to the room I assign, the vacuum often drives into other rooms first, almost like it doesn’t know where it is. It can wander into one or two rooms before finally going to the right place, which is really annoying. This wasn’t happening in the beginning. I’ve tried resetting and remapping, but that didn’t help.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
