Thoughts on nett dropping on sc
Not too sure on how the label treat nett dropping music on dsp’s (considering the trend of ‘mysterious nonchalant’ rappers isn’t going anywhere). But all this music on the new mixtape is fucking great, really fleshed out and coherent.
Do you think this is nett dropping music he wanted to release that the label wouldn’t let him
Do you think this is all promo for slut
Or is it the label trying to pander to the pre 2024 fan base by adding an aspect of ‘underground’ (hate that word) back to his discography
Imo I think there isn’t any dispute between nett and the label and nett is just dropping music for the fans that he actually enjoys making, which I love because he’s an incredible artist and I think it’s a great compromise between maintaining his mainstream longevity with infrequent releases whilst still offering great quality music to the fans who care enough to go look for it (not saying it’s hard to find but ygm)
