The Oak Ridge Makers Group will hold their monthly public meeting at the Oak Ridge Library tomorrow, May 2nd, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend and learn more about the group.

Robert showed up early, which is normal for him. He's one of the newest members of the Eythos board, and he has so much dedication to the community. He said, "I'm going to make sure every single kid leaves with something they built with their own hands."

We hosted a Girl Scout troop from Oak Ridge. Woodworking badge. They built a squat feeder from scratch. Start to finish. Real tools. Real wood. Real satisfaction.

Not every cut was clean. Not every joint came together perfectly on the first try. A few pieces had to be re-measured, re-cut, occasionally re-imagined entirely. Good. That's the point.
