Light intensity and trichomes
I feel somewhat silly asking this question, but I can’t really find much information about it. I’ve noticed that a lot of my lower bud sites have far more trichome coverage than the upper ones, despite clearly looking less mature/ready. I’m wondering if it’s due to light intensity, or if it would be explained by something else entirely. I try to keep my PPFD/DLI in check. I do not have the ability to evaluate VPD at this moment (or at least not that effectively, I believe). The first picture is an example of a lower bud site whereas the second picture is an example of an upper bud site. I’m curious to hear your thoughts.
