I have received an offer from a good company, and they have asked me to join by 22 April. Based on that timeline, I submitted my resignation on 3 April. However, my current company is not relieving me despite there being no real dependency on my role. It appears they are delaying my release for internal billing reasons rather than operational necessity.

I want to leave professionally and join the new company on time, while ensuring that my background verification is not negatively affected. My current company is asking me to stay until mid-May. official np of this company is 90days
