Small Town Drama in /r/PeoriaIL when OP has ulterior motives for posting about the mayor being arrested for "DUI"
Haven't posted in a long time. Hope I got the formatting right.
Context: OP reposted a news happening for a small township called Peoria Heights (which is technically a separate town from Peoria, Illinois but is located next to it). OP reveals that he's trying to bring attention to this case in hopes that a new precedent is set for falling asleep in the driver's seat in a car while intoxicated and makes it very obvious why.

And im sure he had a room if he intended on drinking or not even then, he culd have ubered. I was at home for mine. Didn't drive, cold. Slept in my car. In my garage. Sounds to me its going to go a bit deeper than that.

>It is public record. It's in the news. And they processed him just like anyone else for DUI. He will eventually go to court. Not sure why you're trying to smear someone because your DUI was different. >>Not smearing and its not much different. But the law needs reform for drivers versus sleepers. Also, he will probably get off. And probably deserves the full book thrown at him. He could have gotten home without driving.
