Black Mirror never did an episode on vibe coding — working on a fan script and need help with the conflict
So I've been thinking about this for a while and honestly surprised Black Mirror never went here.
My premise is set in the early era of the show — 2011/2012 feel. A young dev gets selected for an experimental neural interface program. The idea is simple: think about what you want to build, the interface translates it directly into working code. Perfect syntax. Just thought to product.
He's brilliant at it. Builds things nobody else can. Gets everything he wanted.
That's where I'm stuck though — what's the conflict? Like what goes WRONG!?
Like what goes wrong that feels genuinely Black Mirror rather than just a tech cautionary tale? The show always had that gut punch moment where you realise the horror was never really about the technology.
What would you do with this? (I know I can ask AI but need real human input please)
