Hit by Tesla Showroom car
My car got hit by a test driver of a Tesla Showroom (on regular Dubai plates), their client is at fault (thanks to their dash video). The driver gave his own motor insurance on the police report.
Our own insurance is blocking the repairs because they’ve called the driver’s insurance who’s saying the Policy doesn’t exist. Tesla showroom called their client who confirmed the policy exists.
We’ve asked the Tesla showroom to put their own insurance (the one needed to get their plates) on the Police report, they refuse, they claim they “have nothing to do with this accident” involving their car and client.
Any advice on a way forward? Shouldn’t Tesla put their own insurance, so that our insurance goes after them, and their insurance to go after their client?
The showroom manager told us to go to the Police, but not sure for what, it’s not our details that are wrong, and we can’t change 3rd party information, and we don’t know change to what. So we’re at a complete block.
