A friend of mine bought this MBP mid-2012, I ugraded the RAM to 8GB and everything worked fine... until two days ago when he clicked UPDATE TO TAHOE from the system settings.
I am currently trying to reinstall, actually install Sequoia since it is a supported OS but it is currently stuck on the apple logo.
Any idea how to fix that? yes, i have formatted the drive before.
The bootableUSB has been created on my MBP 2015.

After a long time of chasing this darn sound I got... at least half because now I want to record it on the GEOFON - it is a loud sound but with headphone you can also hear the mechanical parts moving like the chains.
