I am looking to get my first (adult) kick scooter. My kids love scootering so I want to be able to do it with them. I can get a cheap (Vevor) 200mm for about $65CAD or a MADD Gear for $80CAD, or even a refurbished Razor A5 Lux for $110CAD. Alternatively, I could get an 250mm Razor A6 Lux for about $180CAD.

Is a brand name model (such as Razor) worth the extra cost? Is going from 200mm to 250mm worth the extra cost?

I don’t want to buy cheap and then hate it, but at the same time I don’t want to spend 3x the price and get something that isn’t much better or that I don’t end up enjoying. Unfortunately there aren’t any used options on Facebook.
