Tick advice

Heading to a wedding in Lunenburg for 2 days. I've read the ticks are insane there. How does one prepare for a wedding while also avoiding ticks? I can't exactly wear pants and tuck them in or cover myself in sprays... Help?

Last summer there was an Asian food festival on the waterfront. I've googled and browsed around the web. Does anyone know if something similiar is happening this summer?

I have called without answer. Theres a Instagram post from April 2025 say that they were "back" to serving.... Is Ship Victory serving food these days?
