Did the hidden shrine box thing at the start of my walkthrough and now I'm starting Sumaru Castle. Guides tell me that after Ameno Torifune I should be able to get the rumors for Tatsunoshin and Maihime, but neither the granny at Alaya and my boss at Kismet give me their rumor yet. Did I fuck up somewhere?
You have five types of physical damage, ten elemental types (including non instakills dark and light moves). There are many status effect skills divided in two neat types, including shock and freeze. Earth and water are basically exclusive to P2 afaik, they should make a comeback. Yep, there's a lot of variety and it's not hard to follow. Great design, maybe could do with only three physical types like P3, but otherwise is everything fine.
That's it. I hate its ugly face and hate how common it is in the Undersea Ruins. Spent hours trying to contact Aeshma and Leviathan to unlock the Treasure Room and had to reload save many times because of this mf. Physical is so mid in Oldsona and my party is vulnerable to its bullshit skillset. Not even worth to negotiate because it is a crackhead and says nothing of value. I'm also fully stocked on Magician cards so not even the contact is worth it. Fuck Waitry.
Interesting stuff:
Male and female affinities are roughly the same. Boys have affinity for Strength, Moon and World; girls have affinity for Lovers, Sun, Temperance and Hermit. Star is also a girl Arcana but it literally has only one Persona to fuse.
Anyways, Yuka, Brown and Reiji have particular affinity for Hanged Man. Reiji also has unique affinity for Tower. Yukino is the only girl with affinity for Strength.
Iirc, the main Arcana are only the best grade for their respective party members. Fool and Fortune have good or best affinity for all the party.
