I gave up Islam 2yrs ago and feel so free. I don't feel guilty for skipping prayers or while disobeying the almighty ALLAH (who has such a huge ego for no reason) anymore. I think I'll always be a closeted ex muslim I will never come out and tell people about my atheism. Cuz I feel like my family will get hurt and think satan has got me, I will go to hell etc etc. I don't hate my family for who they are (orthodox muslims) because they are also just a victim of religious brainwashing growing up. I had this privilege of internet access at a very young age which exposed me to a lot of rational content.
