Not a lot compared to others cars but I grew up with a Mazda hatch that did not take much and lasted a million years 😭😂).
Also I am hoping to get solar panels in the next few years too for my electrical usage ( in general not jsut for the EV).

With the cost of living and utility soaring in looking into saving up for solar panels!
For context my electrical bill is $500-600 quarterly. 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house. My husband works from home and I have a baby so I’m home a lot aswell. We still use electricity at night : phones, watching shows, computer up until 1-2 am ( don’t judge me our baby is asleep and we binge watch and game). We have a split system which we turn on to make sure our baby is warm enough but not too warm. So there is still usage at night. But also plenty in the day!
Don’t have an EV car but we are hoping to buy one in a few years.
My daily usage is 16.35 kW and I was looking into a 8 kW system. But given I still have night usage, I live in Victorian where many days are cloudy in wondering if it’s worth it! I feel like it still is but would love you to share your experience so I can learn !
