Help needed: How to get a digital copy of a traffic fine? (Letter returned to sender)
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice on a bit of a frustrating situation with a traffic fine in Florence.
My rental company (Europcar) charged me an admin fee (25 EUR) for a traffic violation, but the official registered letter was sent via PostNL and was returned to the sender before it reached me.
I have the violation number, date and time, car plate.
I want to pay this and get it over with, but I don't have the official fine ticket.
I've tried to contact Europcar but not received any response yet.
Is there another office or a specific email address that is more responsive to tourists trying to pay?
Has anyone dealt with letters being returned to sender and managed to get a digital PDF instead?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Grazie!
