And to think the direction that started here would land Amy Madigan a Academy Award years later for Aunt Gladys in "Weapons.

But I still think Roger and Mitchell got snubbed for this movie.

Started collecting again...maybe

Went down a rabbit hole over the weekend on the production of this and decided to pick it up on Blu-Ray.

I remember renting that movie a bunch from our local video store on VHS no less when I was in middle school. I was such a history nerd, still am to this day.

Really to bad the camp doesn't have some way to pay like $20 to stop for the two minutes it would take to get a picture.

Great day for it to also highly recommend checking out Ghost Lake near Jenny Jump State Park.

So I was out driving around today. I was listening to the audio book of Alison Angrim's "Confessions of a Prairie Bitch" (highly recommended given she also reads it) and she was talking about behind the scenes of the episode where Laura and Nellie fall into the river during a camping trip.

Of course when I get home I turn on the Little House channel and it's literally right at that part that she was talking about in the book.
