Can I get thoughts on my sgfleet quote? Anything i should be changing? For a Zeekr 7x LR
A bit of a rant post but just trying to work out if others feel the same and if there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.
But ever since Covid, it feels like everything has gotten worse. Simple things like getting a trade to fix something seems like a battle. Weather it’s dealing with insurance, a major retailer or manufacturer for a warranty claim, a tradie, a telco, an airline…everything feels like a battle now and everyone seems to be doing the bare minimum in terms of service.
It feels like to get a good result, everything requires a battle. Whether it’s complaining, escalating or just being a persistent PITA to the supplier to get a good result. Then add the cost…everything is ridiculously expensive now.
Does anyone feel the same? Any thoughts or ideas on how to get good value and service for things we pay for now? Or we just trapped in a world of enshitification/shrinkflation now?
TLDR: paying for gold class service for most services, receiving crap products and service in return.
Hello,
With the announced changes to NL, I am considering a 30 month least into a 3/4/5 year lease prior to the 2029 cut off.
Are there any considerations with this strategy? I feel like this is a more cost effective strategy than just a straight 4 or 5 year lease now.
Are there any hidden traps or costs doing this? Will the residual be close to 0 at the end of the second lease term?
Thanks
Hello,
Probably not the right place but I’ve switched from amber to flow recently. I’ve been happy with flow however I’ve just had the smart meter installed. After this instal, I’ve had one or my light switches trip a circuit breaker. The only change I’ve had is the smart meter instal and everything worked well prior to this.
Any thoughts on how to proceed? I had a perfectly good smart meter prior to this and don’t want to pay for an electrician for an issue I didn’t cause. Thanks
Hi all,
Currently have an ongoing home insurance claim and am trying to clarify a few things.
I’ve got a small roof leak that’s caused damaged to gyprock and bubbled hybrid flooring. The insurance company has put under maintenance that the issue is a roof design fault and that I need to get the roof redesigned.
My understanding is that maintenance is something that a homeowner is required to do for upkeep such as ensuring cracked tiles are replaced, gutters are clean, ridges and caps are in sound condition.
Does a roof redesign come under maintenance? If not any advice on how to take on insurance with this issue?
Also can bubbled hybrid flooring be replaced in small patches or do entire rooms require reflooring?
Lastly, thoughts on cash payout vs insurance repair?
Thanks all
Hi all,
After doing the required alienware/dell updates I’ve found my wifi won’t connect to its default network. The network is found but states ‘can’t connect to this network’. However, it will connect to a wifi hotspot from my phone.
Additionally, sometimes it does connect to the network after a reboot, only for it to drop it after 60 seconds and be unable to connect to it again.
I had zero wifi issues prior to the update. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
The router is next to the laptop and it has a full strength connection.
Thanks
