Long crank

During the past few rides I’ve noticed a long crank then previously when the bike was new. Am I just being paranoid….

Original battery on a ‘25. All up to date on service.

Once the bike is warmed up, bike starts right up.

Got the idea from a fb group member, has anyone powder coated the footpeg assembly. IMO I think the chrome is out of place. I’ve seen vinyl wraps, I like the idea but have seen a lot of peeling. Anyone go the powder coat route?
