I recently found out about this program called Lasagna Love. People can sign up to request a lasagna if they're in need of food and volunteers get matched and make them lasagna. I signed up as a volunteer, because I grew up very poor in the el cerro area (Los Lunas) and often didn't have enough food as a kid and young adult. But I didn't get any matches and I thought, maybe it's because people didn't know about it. So I wanted to share this resource to anyone who may be struggling and don't know it's there. Edited to add: I read you have to offer lasagna, but can offer similar alternatives. So, I'd probably start every request with, do want enchiladas instead, or no?
