Basically what would you do if cutting hair was not part of a cultural norm outside of emergencies like industrial accidents, cancer , brain surgery and the like?

Consequences include spending more money on haircare and shampoo/conditioner, learning hairstyles to deal with it, having to spend longer in the shower washing/drying
