Argentia ferry with baby and road trip [nl]
has anyone taken the Argentia ferry with a baby? I’m looking for tips on how to survive with no cabin lol. Baby will be 8 ish months, formula fed (powder), and we have to drive 8 hours to the ferry, 16 ish hour overnight ferry with no wifi/cell service, and 2 hour drive to our destination once on the island.
- strollers?? Yay or nay? I baby wear a lot.
- microwave?? Somewhere to wash bottles? Any tips and tricks for formula feeding while on the road is super appreciated. Normally I use a big formula pitcher and keep in fridge but not really an option here. I have microwave steaming bags for sanitizing. I don’t normally sanitize but I doubt I’ll have a good washing set up.
- can I bring a play pen?
- I know people usually set up in an area, but if we all go somewhere do I need to pack my stuff up? I’m from Atlantic Canada I leave my house door unlocked usually but not sure of the vibe here.
- power outlets?? Did you bring power banks?
- my baby doesn’t use tablets or phones or watch much tv, but I also won’t have his baby gym set up. Not sure what to do.
Any tips or tricks for the road trip or ferry is super appreciated! Sorry for long post
