Currently, I have had a Cannondale CAAD-8 for a couple of years now. It still functions fine with quite a few major scratches since I mainly use it for commuting, but I am looking to get more serious with cycling longer distances and so was looking to build a solid bike/upgrade as I go (the new one would NOT be used for commuting). I have been looking and have come across some Specialised bikes (SL5, SL6, S-works versions), Canyon etc. Do you have any recommendations on how to start this search/any recommendations for new bikes? I am looking to try and find a good deal on second-hand bikes, preferably a lightweight/aero one that sleeker looking and looks nice. Thanks :)
