Negative gearing on older properties still available

I see on some anti investor reddit pages populated by mainly people wanting a hand outs that they are very happy negative gearing is being stopped on older properties. This is being celebrated. But apart from this pushing up rents like it did in nz property can still be offset against other property holdings so if you have 2 positive geared properties and 2 negative geared properties it is all good. Again this is good for established multi property owners but bad for less established single owners or potential owners. These people now don’t get given the same opportunity that others have had over the years.

Hi. I have had pretty stable employment over the past 20 years. 1 company 9 years but changed jobs to work internationally a couple of times. A brief stint in an academic institute followed by 10 years at a company. I got made redundant and went back to the academic institute. I intend to stay there for some time before going back into industry. All jobs I’ve had in the past 25 years have been in the same industry. I put my CV into AI. To help me fix things up and it said staying in a job 2 -3 years is a pretty big red flag for future employers. What’s an acceptable time to change jobs?
