Is Moving To Calgary from Vancouver Better Option for Manufacturing Industrial Job Seekers?
Hi everyone. Me (33) and my partner(31) live in Vancouver and we are in job seeking phase again!
I am supply chain specialist in aviation and my partner worked as chemical engineer in mining field. I have 6 and my partner has 4 years of experince. But the most of our experince is out of Canada.
As we are looking for our new jobs we notice that Vancouver has very limited opportunities for us due to lack of huge industrial businesses except a few. This also lead us another problem because we want to build a career but there is not much ladder to take in small companies even if we are hired.
As we search, Calgary looks like a promising option from outside but we cannot be sure without trying or actually be in it.
We would like to hear the experiences of people who knows about Calgary work environment and opportunities.
If somehow important we are in Canada for 2 years and still have 3 and a half years of open work permit.
