I bought this the ESP LTD EC-256 on eBay with that crack. I didn’t know about the crack. Can it be saved an how much would it cost (round about?)
I can use the guitar but it looks horrible.
I made a custom 30L closed Box for my Volvo 850. The speaker is the chassis from the Teufel Concept Magnum. That had a broken amp but the chassis was fine and it was laying around in my basement for like 3 years. So it’s like a free sub. It’s normally in a vented enclosure but I tested it in 30L cb and I thought it was fine.
A little bit of fiberglass-work. A little bit of MDF and the box was ready.
I didn’t know how to finish the box. Yesterday I was thrift shopping and saw that piece of fabric. I thought it would be funny. And for me it is. So that’s the result.
Maybe I change the Teufel sub with a JL 10W3V3 in the future. But for now it’s a nice little support for the bass.
