Some pics from our hike up Monte Semprevisa, Lepini Range, Italy

We hiked up Monte Semprevisa in the Lepini range in Italy, encountering a few different weathers and some bonus ladybirds (last pic)! It was really well signposted, as well as markers on rocks along the way to prevent straying off the path. My hiking partner is Italian and lives not too far away but has never gone up himself so it was a good exploration!

The final day of this multiday hike saw the classic Wales rain finally catch up to us, and let me tell you there was not a single moment where we were not absolutely drenched! Despite this we kept our spirits high and made it to Cardiff.

Yes, this really was the best picture we managed to get, a screengrab from my gopro XD All the other pictures had massive water droplets on the lens!

Full disclosure - due to my feet being particularly unhappy, we did use the bus to get off of Barry Island and cut down the final day's mileage, but it was still a good 10 miler when all was said and done.

We walked a circular around Walbury Hill (highest hill in SE England!), including Gallows Down and Inkpen Hill!

Day 5 of the multiday hike from Swansea to Cardiff (today's leg was Llantwit Major to Barry) - I have shared other days previously. On this day we contended with a lot of rolling pebble beaches, which went very well with the disintegrating state of my feet at this point. I *still have a blue toenail, which is probably very healthy. XD
