I didn’t finish this book, it finished me.
I had read reviews and was aware about all the trigger warnings about this book but nothing could have prepared for the emotional toll this book had on me.
I finished this in two days, would have finished it sooner but i kept slamming the book shut and walking around my room because of how disturbed i was.
The writing is so hauntingly beautiful and gut wrenching, I cannot stop thinking about this book. The story is so heartbreaking and i kept crying as i reached the second half and continued crying till i reached the end.
Easily one of my favorites reads ever, even though it disturbed the hell out of me.
