Honestly, I can't grasp how some people spend ten years or even more in the exact same workplace. For me, after about two and a half years, I start to feel like I want a change. The longest I've ever stayed at a job was just under four years.
What's the secret? How do you keep looking at the same office walls, dealing with the same colleagues, following the same daily schedule, and even using the same microwave in the break room for what feels like an eternity? I have a good job now, and I'm in my early thirties, but I seriously question if I have the ability to just settle down like that. I just feel like there must be more to my career path than this current trajectory.
