Roster pictures
Hey everyone, I know reddit is not the place to go if I don’t want to feel judged but please be nice.
So I have OCD and for some reason my biggest obsessive fixation comes with realism in my sports video games. I absolutely hate it. I’ve never understood why, but I feel pain/uncomfortable whenever something isn’t right. For example I was so happy when MyNBA eras became a thing because I couldn’t ever do historic rebuilds. Just seeing Michael Jordan win the 2018 NBA Finals made my stomach churn.
However with that also came player pictures in the records, however at the beginning there was a quick fix. If you went in and copied the dna from a player in roster builder that had a picture associated with him and replaced the players dna in the MyNBA file it would give that player his picture. For a while it was great but then some random update affected it. Now the only way to do it was the start a MyNBA with a custom roster that had all the dna changes. I took the time to make the rosters and draft classes and even saw it catch on in 2k25, but no one has done it this year at least not from what I can find. I also have ADHD so it is difficult to sit for 3 hours and do it all. Again I did it for 2k23, 24, and 25 but for 26 I just couldn’t do it. I was hoping someone else would but now we’ve hit playoffs and still nothing.
So I was wondering if anyone knows a roster that has all of the correct pictures for MyNBA eras as well as draft classes. I don’t mind doing the draft classes as it is significantly less time consuming than the rosters.
Lastly I just want to say please don’t comment anything mean about my weird obsession. I get it okay.
