Hello everyone! I finished my first year of MSW, and I'm looking forward to the future. When do folks think its the best time to apply/job hunt? I graduate in May '27 and REFUSE to be jobless afterwards. Any help is appreciated! Im interested in mezzo/macro social work btw!
Hello everyone, im almost done with my 1st yr of my msw ( thank fucking GOD) and realized that i do not want to do child welfare. i do not want to do clinical work. i do not want to work with children and do direct practice. But it seems like that is what my school is pushing us students to do. I'm really interested in macro social work and possibly getting into policy. Haven't heard much from social workers who are in that field but would love to hear feedback from anyone who is a macro social worker doing policy work!

Hello everyone, I'm 22F looking for a job to secure for summer/ fall. I know it's early but I'm about to finish my first year in my MSW program and I desperately need a job before I reach the point of no return. I have extensive experience in research and do lots of creative stuff ( film, photography, writing) on the side. I'm open to anything but really want to do something along the lines of either research or being a creative. Please let me know if there is any position open out there : )
Hello everyone, this is my first Reddit post and I'm getting desperate. So I've been having an eczema flare-up on my eyes and lips since Nov 2025. Went to the derm and was prescribed pimecrolimus. It worked ( thank God for modern medicine), and i was no longer miserable. Now that the weather is somewhat getting better, I thought that I would still be in the clear. Well, boy was I wrong. Im having a mini reaction under my eyes and around my lips. I've been using pimecrolimus, but it is failing to do its job at the moment. I would go back to the derm but that is time and money. I'm a busy college student in the middle of finals.
However, the only difference between this flare up and the previous one is that this time its very itchy, very red, appears to be raised and is triggered every time I go outside or stay inside. I haven't introduced any new products to my regimen, so I'm really confused as to what this is. Am i allergic to being outside? AND inside? There's no way, I love my bed, and being social! Please, if anyone could provide any answer and relieve the stress I'm feeling, I would greatly appreciate any feedback and/or suggestions. Thank you for reading.
