Emotional attachment and actual completion?

Hey Redditors, how are yall?

i am a huge fan of horizon and I’ve played it for a few hundred hours. In that time I spend most time just hunting random machines or running around. In that time I must’ve gotten very attached to aloy and the world

and now, when I try to play quests (especially main quests) again, it hurts a little, because my brain tells me, if I finish the game there is nothing new to do and to see and it’s over…

Have yall had similar experiences? And if so… what helped? Thank you all so much :)

Fear of completing the game…

Hey Machine Hunters, how are yall doin?

Did any of you experience similar things? And is the ending worth it or is it really a goodbye?
