Linda's Lancer - The Everywhere, everyday worker of the fleet.
Meet Linda, the latest addition to the Dames Fleet. Steel sharpens iron, and repetition makes greatness. Linda began as our test ship; our builders learned of a new technique from a recent collection of ship builders in the Euclid galaxy. She has been through nearly forty design concepts and test flights. Nothing felt right.
We knew we loved her rear end, but the front end never quite felt right. We tried to find the right shape and design from our past creations, but once again nothing felt right. Then, with a stroke of luck, our long-range scan picked up a transmission—a smuggler’s log from a distant outer-rim world, an outlaw and his machine outrunning enforcers across endless blacktop. That vehicle, with its bold colors and predator blazing across its hull, moves like it was built to defy authority itself. We studied its front end—the sharp, round nose, the wide predatory stance—and knew that was it.
So while she might be called Linda’s Lancer, she wouldn’t be here without the heroics of Smokey and the Bandit.
She is our most compact dame yet. We focus on ease of access and comfort when flying. Still packs a punch.
