Bluff Creek Road vs. Bluff Creek Trail
Hi Redditors, Google Maps has me stumped while tracing the original Bluff Creek timber road from Highway 96 to Louse Camp, where Jerry Crew found his first Bigfoot tracks in 1958. Any insight?
I see a Bluff Creek Trail, whose entrance sign says "Bluff Creek Road" and which runs five miles, passing Fish Lake before splitting into two identically named Bluff Creek Trails. Trail A continues another 9 miles along Bluff Creek to its terminus, while Trail B connects to the Blue Creek Mountain Trail (Forest Route 13N01) then Rte 12N10, which reaches Louse Camp.
Complicating matters further, up Highway 96, there is a switchbacking Bluff Creek Road connecting to the trail and a Bluff Creek Historic Trail, which seems to only run along the highway for a mile and a quarter.
Two questions, Bigfoot historians:
Which of these would have been the Bluff Creek Road entrance in 1958?
How much of that original road was destroyed in the 1964 flood?
