So we had these stairs regrouted a year and a half ago (bc the stone was picture framing due to the original grout being placed when it was too cold out) and after this winter all the grout is coming out of this one joint in the front next to the tread. When you lift the grout there is sand type material underneath which I don’t understand why. There’s also this white stuff on the step below it that won’t come off that I don’t know if it’s related. Any ideas what would cause this and how to fix it! Not asking the guy who did them originally bc I don’t trust them anymore
