What to do now?
We live on a zero line property in east vegas. Our neighbors built an addition? onto their house that not only violates the 3ft setback but is using the cinderblock walls, while also being just shy of attaching to my house, this is built on top of an aluminum awning. the also attached some kind of plumbing, a drainage pipe? we reported to clark county fixit and they closed the complaint as unfounded. Not only has noise been annoying, but I worry about fire safety, you know they are not getting any electrical work inspected, and potential water damage. The pipe looks to be black pvc in direct sunlight for most of the day. If the pipe fails or is not properly installed it would leak in to our yard and onto our wall.We tried asking them to not build so close to the wall of our house. we asked them not to build anything that would stick over the wall. We had to have them take down stuff they glued to our house. I feel like a Karen, but I am at my wits end with this. Does anyone know what the next steps would be?
