It’s honestly refreshing seeing listings for sonny’s that are unreasonably priced just kinda sit and rot for months, I’m so exhausted paying excessive* amounts for sonny angels. As a long time collector I understand wanting to sell limited series for a higher price but honestly anything over like 80 dollars (which is still very expensive) is ridiculous in my opinion. I love sonny’s they genuinely give me something to look forward to but honestly the scalping is exhausting because everyone is so greedy unfortunately, so its nice to see that people aren’t really buying into insane prices anymore. I hope the hype just completely dies down completely and more scalpers get boycotted into lowering prices permanently because they unfortunately just ruin the experience of collecting.
There is nothing wrong with developing interest and starting a new hobby but when people collect to follow a trend and buy insane amounts while secret hunting and take away from collectors who enjoy it to turn around and try to sell all the duplicates they accumulated for insane prices is exhausting to see and in my opinion just burns me out from collecting. And seeing the quality of sonny’s just go into the toilet because they try to keep up with demand just sucks even more. (This is all my opinion and I’m just ranting into the void lol)
