The Fifty Fathoms is a diver watch that looks great on a strap, and this Tribute to Milspec limited edition from 2017 looks great on an orange strap, it is ready for the Summer.

This Fifty Fathoms has a 40.3mm case with 20mm spacing between the lugs. The strap is from Jean Rousseau and it is made of sailcloth (they call it tactical fabric). They also have a Velcro strap in matte, orange alligator leather that I would definitely like to try out later on.

The 116500LN, discontinued in 2023, is the most comfortable watch I’ve ever worn and an ideal daily driver. The black dial is discrete and understated, I love that it flies under the radar and nobody notices it. The red line of text pops nicely in the sun.

Overall, a tough watch that can be worn every day. Sometimes I miss having a date window but its absence helps keep the watch slim. This watch is much smaller than the Rolex GMT or the Submariner, comparable in size to the Yacht Master I.
