Any thoughts on Clinic Deluxe?
I’ve been bouncing back and forth on grabbing Clinic Deluxe. I’m wondering if the round to round upkeep is too much. I don’t mind doing things that just pertain to me - it’s an AI/automa that I don’t generally like worrying about.
My solo journey is ramping up more since my husband will be starting grad school soon, so I’m looking for some other games to fill my time. Solo games I’ve primarily been playing: Grove and Hercules and the 12 Labors. I’ve also played Sleeping Gods: Distant Skies which was the best big solo game experience I’ve had. I tried Age of Innovation and I did not like figuring out the AI moves and upkeep so I’ll keep that to multiplayer.
I know Spirit Island is commonly recommended, I for some reason still haven’t figured out how to play it?? I feel so dumb saying that..
Anyways, any feedback on Clinic as a good heavy solo game? I’ll also happily accept other recommendations that have no AI component.
