FEA HELP ME PLS
So I'm doing my dissertation on bridges and I thought it would be a good idea to use FEA so I could learn how to use it before I get into a job but I decided to learn how to use SAP2000. I've got my grasp on the basics of it and followed a bunch of tutorials on how to use and I can confidently model simple buildings. Since I could make simple structures I decided to finally start on modelling bridges the bridge decks I needed for my dissertation but for some reason I just can't mesh my steel beams to the deck and whenever I run the model it looks like the pic I have on this post. There was another attempt I have done however it looks wrong to me since the deck isn't actually on top of the beams when I extrude the objects but idk if that's just how it's supposed to look. If anyone could please let me know how to resolve this please let me know. PS Ik I could be using CSI bridge but I don't have access to it
