Wanna see if this would be cool or not?

I am Dming a Rise of Tiamat campaign one of my players are a necromancer with a goal to bring one of their family members back to life. I thought it could be cool to introduce ioulaum basically a elderbrain lich. Wanted him to offer spells forgotten by 5e standards giving him knowledge of old spells like from 3.5. In the end I want iolaum to take control of taimat as a new vessel and try to grow a army with dragons to create a larger hivemind. Does this sound too OP or kinda cool I know Iolaum is VERY strong but I'd give them ways to stop it before and after it happens.

Question about the 5.5 new books on grim hollow.

My questions is does anyone know if the 5.5 grim hollow stuff will be physical books soon? I have the old versions and when I heard their making new ones I'm excited. I see the pdf version on dnd beyond but I'm more of a book collector lol.
