Thinking about moving to Ireland: Dreaming of rural life (from Turkey) 🇮🇪
Hi everyone,
I’m Turkish and I’m currently living in Turkey, but I’ve been dreaming of starting a new life in rural Ireland. I’ve always been drawn to the peaceful pace of the countryside and I have a huge interest in farming, even though I have no professional experience in the field yet.
I am aware that farmers in Ireland are going through some challenging times right now, but I am very serious about learning and finding my place in that environment.
My plan is to come over on a student visa first to get settled. My ultimate goal is to find a way to stay, work, and eventually build a life in a rural community.
I’m just looking for some honest advice from those who know the reality. Is this a realistic path? Any tips or insights on how to approach this journey would be incredibly appreciated.
