Hi, a newbie here! I got a third hand Elegoo Mars printer from a friend a week ago and this is my first time digging into how resin printers work. I'm slightly lost, even after alot of googling and yt videos.
Took the printer outta it's box today to check it out and found that the FEP film is not there for the vat.
Looking into it, all the videos I've seen have the two part frame to secure the film, but mine has just a single piece frame to screw onto the metal frame...
So would this be an older model with very outdated vat design? How am I to install a new FEP with this one? Currently the Mars and Mars 2 vat parts are not in stock in the eu store and I feel so deflated not being able to get calibrating and testing this baby out.
Could an alternative be to get a vat of a newer machine? Me having no idea if I could actually use those with this one bugs me and that info is tough to come by via search.
Help / tips with this would be so so so appreciated!
