I was wearing my favorite shirt when I decided to pan sear some salmon. The pan was too hot, I got splattered with vegetable oil, and when the stain didn't come out I thought "why not just soak the whole thing?" I have now let it soak in a detergent bath 3 times, as well as a dish soap bath, but nothing is getting rid of the oil smell/feel. I'm at a loss, and I refuse to give up this shirt. What else can I do?

I have a large bed of lily of the valley on two sides of my house, and it's become mostly weeds at this point. I'm trying to get rid of it all and start fresh to plant only rose bushes, and I started by laying down cardboard and an inch of dirt last fall. Half of the stuff came back this spring with a vengeance. What else can I do??
