My curse is simple: Being dumb enough to make bad QOL decisions throughout my life, yet smart enough to understand how dumb I truly am and smart enough to see problems coming that I am inept to solve. It's torture, truly.
reddit.comDoes anyone else have issues with Textnow and bluetooth switching and wifi to cellular switching?
I've been having issues with Bluetooth not always working. I have to use the app to switch between phone speaker and bluetooth to get it to work. Same thing for wifi and cellular. Sometimes, when I am leaving the wifi and on a call with the cell, it will end the call and I have to toggle airplane mode to get it back going again. I'm wondering if Textnow might not be stable enough for me and I might have to try Tello or T-Mobile Connect.
Thanks, Unsure if it's my device or a known Textnow problem.
Society is becoming subscription based and I'm tired of it. 90 a month.
reddit.comHow do sellers get brand+ accounts with powerbanks that don't make sense?
So, the AI bot claims that there is no way these specs and powerbank sizes can be accurate. I can't find a Lenovo powerbank on Google that matches either. I don't care if it's not 100,000mAh, lol, but I was thinking about getting it if it's fast charging and reasonably powerful.
Anyone has any luck with these? What do you make of it?
Thanks,
Not sure if it's because Textnow uses lesser priority or because my neighborhood has bad signal strength, but I get dropped calls during windy days (13mph) and -108dBm and between 26-39% signal strength. Sometimes it's just not useable for calls. Does anyone else have these issues? Maybe I just need a higher end phone or ?
Thanks,
I never seen these before. I bought one myself in 2m. I wonder if they won't break as easily. Thought I would share. This is probably the future material for cords, lol.
Hope, I am not spamming this forum, but I recently got textnow. Is there an x amount of posts a day? Seems really inactive compared to the usual ones I frequent.
Regardless, This annoyed me. The points should have a point. With an imported number, most of the rewards are pointless for me. However a data hour browse pass would be good for bus rides. I just need it for fast food apps, 😂 😂 😂
Now, I watched a million ads because I thought the browse pass would be a regular reward. I bought mc ds and planned on using it on the bus to submit an order so it was ready when I got there.
The moment I go on the bus, it's gone, lol. Been there for days, then gone right when I go out. When I get home after 6 hours, it's back. I feel trolled, lol.
They need to rethink their ad reward structure. Wanting 1 hour for light browsing isn't going to kill them. Annoying people who transfer and don't mind watching ads for real rewards isn't going to do them favors. I might not even watch ads anymore outside the ones they force if they keep removing stuff when it's useful and giving it when it's useless, lol.
How about you guys? Ever used it?
For the life of me, I can't find it, which might mean it doesn't exist. Is there a way besides tracking your phone's mobile usage which doesn't differentiate between unlimited calls and essential apps?
Thanks. I know you get 550mb before throttling, so it would be nice to see how fast that goes.
I am trying to transfer a Spectrum Mobile number to Textnow, and Spectrum mobile tells me that once they get the request, it happens within 3 hours typically. It's been a day, and they haven't received the request from Textnow yet, even though they say it's processing through the auto notifications in the app. I thought the whole process was automatic if all the info is correct.
Yeah, I plan on waiting the 3 days or so, but I'm curious how long others waited and what could possibly take Textnow so long to submit the request when Spectrum mobile can do it within hours of receiving the request.
Thanks, I never transferred a number before.
