Tiktok PayLater refund issue
Hi everyone, sharing my experience 32M and asking for advice.
I bought something on tiktok shop. during the payment process, I chose Tiktok paylater than paying for the item upfront.
The item is worth 6,500 pesos. meaning I now have a debt of 6,500.
I then immediately pay my debt since I have money naman to pay upfront. I paid using gcash. ngayon wala na akong utang.
After a few minutes or hours, I receive a message from the seller. Manggagaling sa ibang bansa yung item and there are some issues but to make the long story short it is best to cancel my order and just reorder.
cinancel ko na yung order ko, and asked for a refund.
and that's it. never bumalik yung pera ko worth 6,500.
I raised a ticket to Tiktok customer support pero unfortunately they cannot help, stating:
"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced; this is not the level of service we aim to provide. To withdraw your refund, please reach out to Akulaku directly."
to make the long story short, they are redirecting me to Akulaku. dun daw ako mag reklamo. so i reached out to Akulaku and dun ako nag open ng ticket.
ito naman ang statement ng Akulaku:
"Good day! We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. For refund concerns related to your TikTok PayLater transaction, may we kindly suggest that you directly coordinate with TikTok Customer Service, as they are the best team to handle and expedite this type of concern."
