Hello, I recently bought an S9 and the SG-Image 35mm f2.2 for it as my first camera and I am mostly having a blast.
I've been using the Streetwise-N for most of my photos but I discovered that sometimes the contrast/exposure is just way too much. One of the photos is taken in "No LUT" mode and the other in "Streetwise-N"
What i don't understand is that using the same LUT in the app afterwards gives me exposure for both the highlights and the shadows but taking the picture with the LUT baked in absolutely crashes the shadows. I have tried using exposure bracketing in 7 +-1 stops mode and it doesn't really help to get that HDR phone look, only pushing the shadows in camera to +5 sorta helps.
Is this how it's supposed to be or am I just misunderstanding/missing some steps to getting better photos in sunset/darker areas?
